Heather Douglas holds an Oregon Professional teaching license (#132136) with endorsements in English Language Arts (ELA) and English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). She has a B.A. in English from Oregon State University and an M.A.T. from Pacific University and a cultural competency certificate from Chemeketa Community College.

Heather Douglas has offered a number of writing and zine making workshops throughout the community over the years in collaboration with various organizations and special events including but not limited to: Sou’Wester Arts, The Astoria Writer’s Guild, The Coastal Emersion Conference, and The Oregon Council of Teachers of English –Oregon Writing Festival.
